The Project has a planned duration of 36 months and is managed from LAO/017 programme office in Vientiane capital.</p> <p>We are seeking qualified candidates for the positions of:</p> <p><strong><span class="caps">SOFTWARE</span> PROGRAMMER</strong><br /> The main functions of the Software Programmer are:</p> <p>• A software management system will be developed for the LAO/017 Programme to operationalise Lux-Development implementation procedures.<br /> • The developed software package will be implemented in FileMaker Pro for Mac OS and will cover the following modules and capabilities:</p> <p>- Human Resources module; &#8211; Job Cards module; &#8211; Project Document module; &#8211; Database management module; &#8211; Smart logic module.</p> <p>• As part of the development of the modules, design specifications and requirements for the above mentioned modules will be developed in situ, taking into consideration the following conditionalities; &#8211; facilitating the gradual implementation of the system with limited disruption to daily activities; &#8211; developing an user guide in English; &#8211; providing on site training and support the LAO/017 team members in using the application.<br /> • The system will be developed in close collaboration with the LAO/017 Programme Chief Technical Advisor and employees.<br /> • Support will be given to the team members while the new system is being rolled out.</p> <p>Candidate profile:<br /> • Master Degree in computer science or other relevant degree.<br /> • Minimum 3 years experience in database design and development of human resource, process management<br /> & financial software modules, network implementation, support and on-site development;<br /> • Good command of English (speaking/reading/writing);<br /> • Prior working experience in international donors’ project would be an advantage;<br /> • Excellent team player with strong communication, organizational and presentation skills;<br /> • Excellent computer skills, especially in FileMaker Pro for Mac OS.<br /> The post will be based at the project office in Vientiane, <span class="caps">LAO</span> P.D.R.<br /> Salary: based on experience and qualification;
